With 47% marks, Kasganj and Rampur are second best districts followed by Amroha and Muzzafarnagar with 46%.
All these districts have achieved 53% marks with a perfect 10 in identification of land for CM model schools. Shravasti and Shahjahanpur are the worst performing districts with only 33% marks achieved on 21 performance indicators chalked out by the department under eight categories carrying 100 points.
Carried out on the points earned by basic education officers (BSAs), the assessment showed all 75 districts scoring zero on two parameters -- distribution of books and digitisation of registers. In addition, poor performance was reported from all districts on the girl education front that majorly caters to functioning of KGBVs. None scored a single mark on indicators such as enrolment, attendance of students and staff, and filling of vacant posts in KGBVs.
All districts earned full five points for mapping of out-of-school-children and mainstreaming in schools. DGSE Kanchan Verma has asked BSAs to put in best efforts to improve rankings.
